Two-Toned MSNBC Pages

MSNBC goes for a potpourri of color problems! Their FirstRead site tries to be clever by using a background image for colors all over the place. Unfortunately for them, one of those images stops short of doing the job (much like the media during election time). So instead of one seamless color, we get a lovely two-toned background, with nary a defined color in sight.

The Problem
Background and text colors are undefined.
The Fix
I think it needs something close to #EBECF1 as a background color, and the typical #000 for the text (good old black).
