Today, let’s look at the Yahoo! home page. It’s interesting, in that the overall page does not have a background color defined, but each of the page’s sections have well-defined and readable foregrounds and backgrounds. Is this a callback to the old Yahoo! gray page?

background-color: #fff;to thebodyselector, assuming that it should be white, otherwise, there’s no reason to define it. - The Screenshot
