In honor of the Olympics, here’s an article from Popular Mechanics about the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games web site. Guess what, Popular Mechanics? In 1996, they knew how to define their colors! I’m using a default purple/green background/foreground for this one, to add a little variety.

- http://www.popularmechanics.com/blogs/technology_news/4276344.html and a whole bunch of other pages.
- The Problem
- The graphics on the page clearly were made for a white background, and, as we all should know, if you define the background, you should define the foreground, too. I’m assuming that they wanted black text.
- The Fix
- Adding
background-color: #fff; color: #000;to thebodyselector. - The Screenshot
